Our litters grow up in our studio-home, between drying canvases and the daily comings and goings of family life. At eight weeks, your puppy leaves with vaccines, papers — and a hand-painted portrait.
A studio, not a puppy mill.
We never produce more than two litters a year. That isn't a business constraint — it's the only pace that lets us paint every puppy individually, handle each one daily, and know, when matching time comes, which family will truly suit them.
Our females live with us year-round, in the house that doubles as our studio. They aren't anonymous breeding stock: they're our models, our painting companions, who have two or three litters in their lifetime and then retire right here, in Les Éboulements.

They apply to every litter we raise — no exceptions, no extra charge.
Health tested before breeding
Our breeding dogs complete the screenings recommended for their breed — hips, eyes and heart — before any litter. You receive the actual results, not a summary.
Socialized in a working studio
Daily handling from day three, gradual exposure to sounds, the smell of paint, children and visitors. A calm puppy doesn't happen by accident.
A watercolour portrait, included
Around the third week, when the eyes open and personality starts to show, every puppy is painted. The original goes home with their family on pickup day.
English Cocker Spaniels and Brittanys.
Two breeds, and nothing else. We don't diversify: knowing two lines well beats skimming across eight. Both have a lively, affectionate temperament and — quite literally — know how to sit still long enough to be painted.
They're also two sporting breeds with a keen nose and a curious eye, equally at home in a Charlevoix field or a quiet studio.

You write to us
Tell us about your household: children, other pets, living space, experience with sporting breeds. We reply within one or two days, honestly — sometimes to tell you one of our breeds wouldn't suit you.
You visit the studio
By appointment, even before a litter is born. You meet the parents and see where the puppies grow up — between the easels and the toy basket.
Reservation and matching
A $400 deposit confirms your place on the litter. Puppy-family matching happens around week six, based on observed temperaments — not the colour you picked from a photo.
Going home at eight weeks, portrait included
Your puppy leaves vaccinated, microchipped, with their papers and health record — and the watercolour portrait painted just for them, framed and ready to hang.
A litter is expected this fall.
